We are a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy provider dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our team provides high-quality services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and social skills programming throughout Northern Virginia.

Our Occupational Therapy Program
Our Occupational Therapy department focuses on helping children develop the skills needed for independence at home, school, and within the community. We provide individualized interventions that address each child's unique strengths and needs while collaborating closely with families and other therapy providers.
Areas commonly addressed include:
Fine motor development
Visual-motor integration
Handwriting readiness and school skills
Sensory processing and self-regulation
Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Feeding and oral-motor skills (when appropriate)
Executive functioning
Play and social participation
Motor planning and coordination
The Role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
As an OTA, you are a vital part of our interdisciplinary team. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement treatment plans designed to help children achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
Providing engaging, child-centered therapy sessions.
Implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising OT.
Accurately documenting each therapy session according to payer and regulatory requirements.
Communicating progress and concerns to the supervising OT promptly.
Collaborating with ABA, Speech Therapy, and caregivers to ensure consistency across environments.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and therapeutic environment.
Demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and compassion during every interaction.

Our History
Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services, LLC (CABATS) was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide children and families with compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care that extends beyond traditional therapy.
What began as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practice was built on the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality services delivered with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. From the beginning, our focus has been on creating meaningful relationships with families while helping children develop the skills needed to become more independent and successful in their everyday lives.
As the needs of our community continued to grow, so did our organization. CABATS expanded its services to include Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, allowing us to provide a more comprehensive, collaborative approach to pediatric care. Today, our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure each child receives coordinated treatment that supports communication, daily living skills, sensory regulation, motor development, social interaction, and overall quality of life.
