Medical Therapy Unit Clinic Chief Therapist Manager
About the Role Join the California Children’s Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Program (MTP) in San Francisco as the Medical Therapy Unit Clinic Chief Therapist Manager. This leadership role oversees pediatric rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and medical case management for children (birth–21) with CCS-eligible conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Manage MTU operations, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives. Clinical Expertise: Serve as therapy consultant to CCS Medical Director; provide direct patient care as needed. Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and mentor therapy and clerical staff. Compliance: Ensure adherence to CCS, DHCS, Medi-Cal, and professional standards. Collaboration: Partner with families, schools, and healthcare providers for comprehensive care plans. Equity & Inclusion: Promote culturally responsive care and health equity for diverse communities.
