Required Education:

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapist Assistant supports patient/resident well-being, rehabilitation, and recovery. Screens and treats patients/residents, documents services, and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide professional occupational therapy services
completes documentation accurately and timely
Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibility.
Maintains adequate and up to date knowledge of Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting specific clinical and regulatory practices.
Complies with all facility policy and procedures.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Must have a current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Coastal Rehabilitation, LLC contracts with skilled nursing facilities to provide Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy to patients/residents receiving short-term and long-term care.
