Position Summary: The Department of Occupational Therapy at Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Instructor position. This opening is for the 2025-2026 (May 2025 start) academic year and is a one-year initial appointment renewable up to a maximum of three years.
The candidate would be expected to teach 27 credits over a 12 month academic year.
This is an in-person, on campus, non remote position.

Doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related major awarded by an institution that is accredited by a United States Department of Education (USDE)-recognized regional accrediting body, or ABD status with degree completion expected by date of employment.
Possess initial certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Licensed or license-eligible as an Occupational Therapist in New Jersey.
Faculty must have documented expertise in their area(s) of teaching responsibility and knowledge of the content delivery method (e.g., distance learning)
Demonstrated (or potential to demonstrate) ongoing scholarly achievement and research expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of teaching experience at a college or university.
Occupational therapy practice experience in psychosocial rehabilitation.
Occupational therapy practice experience in upper extremity rehabilitation.
Multilingual applicants from diverse, minority, or underrepresented backgrounds encouraged.
