Understanding of Pediatric Treatment

Recommending Modifications of Treatment to Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Perform Treatment sessions with patients
Ensure patients and/or caregivers are educated and aware of their condition and prognosis
Explaining Exercises and Therapies to Patients
Keep patients accountable for therapy attendance and compliance with their plan of care.
Complete all required documentation of each visit
Updating plan of care as needed and discharging patients as needed under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
Following therapist's plan of care and communicating with the therapist regarding care
Supervising Therapy Technicians
Listening to and recording patient successes
Interacting with Patients of Different Ages, Races, and Socio-Economic Backgrounds
Keeping Case management lists up to date.
Assisting in Marketing efforts as requested by the Marketing department
Keeping track of individual stats and completing productivity reports.
