The Division of Occupational Therapy at Binghamton University seeks candidates for a 12-month full-time Doctoral Capstone Coordinator and 10-month core Tenured/Tenure-Track and Clinical Faculty positions. These positions are in-person, with opportunities for additional teaching during summer sessions and the opportunity to teach in the OTD Post-Professional Program; and will work collaboratively with the Program Director and faculty in the Occupational Therapy Division to advance Occupational Therapy’s mission. The Division has been granted Candidacy status with ACOTE for the OTD Entry Level Professional Program and welcomed our inaugural class Fall 2023.
Successful candidates will participate in ongoing curriculum development, implementation, and assessment for both doctoral programs. It is expected that successful candidates will be collaborative with other faculty within the Division and with faculty in related divisions and departments.

The Division of Occupational Therapy at Binghamton University is designed to prepare reflective, motivated and disciplined occupational therapists for clinical scholarship mastery in the roles of practitioner, manager and contributor who are prepared for society’s ever-changing needs. The occupational therapy program will graduate practitioners who are innovative leaders in the field, clinically informed, grounded in the perspective of occupation, and demonstrate the ability to translate and apply research into clinical practice.
