The role you’ll contribute:
When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.
As a Clinical Program Manager in an outpatient setting, you will provide direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient sports med and rehab settings. Facilitates staff development by assessing needs, developing and implementing a plan. Facilitates program development though the use of evidence practices. Develops clinical instructors and clinical internships.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Performs evaluations, treatment and discharges according to standards of practice, accrediting bodies, department policies, and payers’ guidelines. Documents using measurable and objective data and terminology. Charges accurately, completely and timely according to guidelines of the CPT codes format, price file and payer guidelines.
Act as a liaison between OT/PT/SLP Colleges and AdventHealth. Coordinates clinical practices and ensures compliance with rules and regulations of the discipline professional organization. Facilitates clinical instructors and interns experience throughout the internship/externship. Assist with the processing, orientation and assignment of volunteers. Actively engages in activities to improve internal and external awareness of Sports Med and Rehab as a service line.
Plans and implements employee engagement activities. Systematically provides staff with feedback regarding their performance. Counsels staff as needed, documents counseling sessions, monitors compliance and works with HR regarding disposition as needed. Completes staff performance appraisals accurately, legibly and within established time frame. Actively participates in the development of staff clinical skills. Assess staff educational needs, develops and implements a structured plan, and addresses clinical performance variances timely.
Coordinates continued education courses using internal and external resources. Helps build a network of clinical experts to be shared across AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab settings. Encourages the use of evidence-based practices as the standard of care and sets up accountability structure.
Acts as the subject matter expert for discipline/program specific practice act, scope of practice, licensure requirements for national and state regulating agencies/organizations. May be responsible for program performance in assigned region or division. May implement strategies to standardize care and audit quality within the program across all Sports Med and Rehab sites
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Three years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in hospital, home health or outpatient setting as applicable and specific to unit(s) and scope of practice
Licensed in State as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist as applicable and specific to unit(s) and scope of practice
