GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA -   Serving adults with physical and intellectual disabilities!   Join three other OTs on a pretty wooded campus in this university town located in north central Florida.   This is a job where you can bring your favorite ideas and special skills - we are always looking for new ways to help the people living on campus.  The OTs are heavily involved in meantime management which includes developing the safest procedures for each individual to eat or be assisted to eat, selecting the most appropriate food textures, recommending swallow studies when necessary, and training staff.   OTs are also involved in splinting and adaptive equipment to prevent contractures, skin breakdown or self injury in some cases.  The OTs are free to become involved in any area of interest to them, including recreational and ADLs.  You would be one of the most valuable members of the interdisciplinary team.

     We work 45 weeks per year, 40 hours per week.   We have 35 days off (7 WEEKS) annually.   Schedules are very flexible.  There are no weekend, evening or holiday hours required.  If you are looking for a pleasant change, no driving and pleasant co-workers, please call us for more information!  Thanks for checking us out!
