MOST/DFW is looking for a passionate, patient-focused Occupational Therapist to work with an interdisciplinary team of Speech, Physical and ABA therapists for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and provide occupational therapy services, in our clinic and at one of our several partnering ABA locations for a variety of clients ranging from 3-20 years of age.
Essential Functions
Create and implement therapy programs that enhance performance in individuals’ daily living and improve quality of life
Administers evaluations, analyzes results of evaluating assessments, and reports findings
Formulates plan of care and sets long-term and short-term goals for prescription of services for clients
Tracks and records client progression and mastery of goals; observes and records client’s progress, attitudes, and behaviors, while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulation and ethical standards
Collaborates with co-treating therapists to innovate ideas and techniques to reach a client’s goal
Participates in reports and meetings on client’s progress disciplines relating to therapy treatment and goals
Instruct and educate clients and families
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Attends and participates in continuing education programs to monitor proficiency, expand current knowledge and enhance professional excellence. Willingly shares knowledge and provides clinical orientation to other members of the staff

Prior experience as a supervising Occupational Therapist is a plus. Supervisors must have a minimum of 2-years OT experience, and minimum of 1-year supervision of COTAs is preferred.
