Applications are now being accepted for a full-time, twelve-month faculty member for the Occupational Therapy Department, School of Health Sciences, at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD.

Prospective applicants should demonstrate expertise in adult rehabilitation and/or healthcare management and have a strong background in pathophysiology and biomechanics. Faculty rank and tenure status will be based on experience and credentials with the minimum rank required being instructor.

Responsibilities will include teaching in the candidate’s area(s) of expertise in a manner consistent with the department’s curriculum philosophy and design, service as assigned/appointed, advising students in professional and academic progression through the program, and mentoring students in faculty-led research as assigned/appointed. The candidate is expected to fulfill the tripartite academic role of educator-scholar-citizen.
