Our occupational therapy team believes that:
Play is a childhood occupation that is critical to early learning and emotional well-being.
Our participation and independence in all activities of daily living depends on successful manipulation of toys, tools, objects and/or materials.
Every child/adult can be empowered to participate in meaningful activities of daily living through the use of adaptations and/or technology.
Occupational therapy might be indicated for individuals with poor fine motor coordination, developmental delays and/or perceptual challenges that are interfering with their participation in daily living activities at home, at school or in the community.
Our team of 20 occupational therapists has more than 300 years of collective experience and includes two professionals who have achieved board certification in pediatrics, three certified assistive technology professionals and two professionals with specialty certification in school systems.
