The Department of Occupational Therapy at Augusta University invites applications for a full time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor.
Academic rank, tenure track and salary are commensurate with experience. Start date based on candidate availability: May 2021-August 2021.
Faculty member will be primarily responsible for course design and delivery, use of online platform and other instructional technology, student research mentoring, academic advising, with additional engagement in scholarship/research, and service to the department, institution and community.

Minimum Skills/Requirements: Master degree with a commitment to obtaining doctoral degree required. Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
Preferred candidates will have a doctoral degree, a defined research/scholarship experience and agenda, and an interest in addressing needs of under-served populations in the Augusta region.
Clinical or professional experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: orthopedics/splinting, mental health/psychosocial practice, management and supervision, evidence based practice, leadership development and/or advocacy and policy.
