Description
Radiance Pediatric Therapy, LLC in Bentonville, Arkansas is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children. Radiance Pediatric Therapy, LLC offers play-based, child-led, neurodivergent affirming, and family focused care for children 8 months old to 18 years-old. Therapy is provided in our warm, playful clinic and also in local preschools, helping children build real world skills for home, school, and community life.
Requirements
Duties
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for children ages 8 months – 18 years with a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
- Use a child led, play based approach that follows each child’s interests while targeting therapeutic goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on: Sensory integration and processing, Reflex integration, DIR/relationship-based approaches, Fine and visual motor skills, Gross motor skills, strength, and coordination, Handwriting and school related skills, ADLs/independence (dressing, feeding, self-care).
- Provide services in clinic and in local preschools, supporting children where they learn and play most.
- Deliver neurodivergent affirming, strengths focused care for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, and other learning/regulation needs.
- Partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical strategies that fit naturally into daily routines at home, school, and in the community.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, teachers, and other providers (with caregiver consent) to support consistency across settings.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation for evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and care coordination.
- Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and joyful clinic culture aligned with our mission and values.
Clinical & Professional Skills
- Strong skills in pediatric evaluation and intervention, including sensory, motor, and functional assessments.
- Knowledge of sensory integration, reflex integration, and relationship based (DIR informed) approaches.
- Ability to design and implement child led, play based treatment plans that are functional and goal oriented.
- Experience or strong interest in working with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental differences.
- Commitment to neurodivergent affirming, strengths focused, and family centered care.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with families and involve them as partners in care.
- Comfort providing education, coaching, and practical home program strategies to caregivers and teachers.
Organizational Skills
- Strong time management and caseload organization skills.
- Ability to work independently in a small, growing clinic while also collaborating as part of a team.
- Reliable with documentation, follow through, and coordination of care.
Licenses & Credentials (Required)
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (MOT, MSOT, OTD) from an ACOTE accredited OT program.
- Current (or eligible) Arkansas Occupational Therapist license through the Arkansas State Medical Board.
- NBCOT certification (OTR) in good standing (or exam eligibility for new graduates).
- Meets all Arkansas licensure requirements, including any background checks and continuing education needed for renewal.
Preferred Pediatric Experience & Training
- These areas are preferred but not required. If you are eager to learn and aligned with our mission and values, we still encourage you to apply.
- Prior experience in pediatric occupational therapy (clinic, school, or outpatient).
- Training or strong interest in sensory integration, reflex integration, and DIR/Floortime or other relationship-based models.
- Experience providing neurodivergent affirming care for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other neurodevelopmental differences.
- Experience collaborating with schools, preschools, or early intervention programs.
- New graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork and a passion for play based, family centered, neurodivergent affirming care are encouraged to apply.
Compensation (W 2)
- $35 – $65 per billable treatment hour, depending on experience, specialty training, and caseload.
- Evaluations paid at 1.5× your treatment rate (for example, a therapist at $40/hr billable treatment is paid $60/hr for evaluations).
- Team meetings & events paid at $25/hour (not unpaid time).
- Most full time therapists at Radiance Pediatric Therapy carry a 25 – 35 billable hours/week caseload. With upside potential based on your caseload and mix of evaluations vs. treatments.
