Part-Time with Pathway to Full-Time Springfield, VA
Note: This position is part-time with a pathway to full-time employment, as we are a newly established clinic establishing our occupational therapy caseload. Once the patient volume justifies full-time support, the position will transition to full-time employment with benefits.

The KCB Play Institute is a dynamic, family-centered pediatric clinic specializing in speech-language pathology and occupational therapy. As a new and rapidly growing practice, we are seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist, someone eager to help shape our clinical programs, culture, and impact from the ground floor. What You’ll Do
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to children
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Educate families and caregivers on treatment strategies
- Supervise OT staff, students, and volunteers
- Participate in co-treatment sessions with speech therapists
- Maintain timely documentation and support quality assurance
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, and other professionals
- Contribute to outreach and community engagement

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred; applicants with a master’s degree in occupational therapy will also be considered
- Licensed and board-certified in Virginia (MD license a plus)
- 3 years of pediatric experience preferred (strong new grads welcome)
- School-based fieldwork experience and strong organizational skills
- Computer proficiency (we use Google Workspace)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive energy, growth mindset, and commitment to respectful care
- At least 3 references confirming clinical excellence and professionalism
