Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with professional standards, state and federal regulations, and organizational guidelines.

This role involves evaluation, treatment planning, patient care delivery, discharge planning, and supervision of therapy support staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and oversee occupational therapy services to improve patients’ functional abilities and independence
• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and discharge plans
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians
• Ensure efficient and effective use of therapy resources in both individual and group treatment settings
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with all billing and treatment guidelines

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Valid NBCOT certification
• Active Occupational Therapist state license (as applicable)
• Ability to supervise and mentor therapy support staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively
