Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Southfield, MI. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement customized treatment programs to assist individuals with traumatic brain injuries and co-occurring disorders in regaining functional independence. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating client needs, developing therapy goals, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate client records to track progress.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to provide specialized care and implement effective therapeutic interventions
• Knowledge of medical principles and treatment strategies relevant to traumatic brain injuries and co-occurring disorders
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Experience in traumatic brain Injury is a plus
• Current Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
• A commitment to patient-centered care, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
