Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions for individuals with a range of needs, including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), sensory processing challenges, and other developmental or physical disabilities
The therapist must demonstrate expertise in sensory processing and regulation, sensory modulation challenges, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support clients’ participation, self-regulation, and functional independence across environments, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
In addition to seeking a professional who can help individuals with gross or fine motor development, we are looking for an OT who has strong experience assisting individuals to regulate their sensory input and response.
We expect this professional to have prior experience in sensory clinics, autism-focused practices, or schools.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of sensory processing and sensory modulation needs, including over- or under- responsivity to sensory stimuli.
Develop and implement individualized sensory diets and environmental modifications
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team to support sensory regulation across settings.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance clients’ functional abilities in daily living activities, sensory integration, and motor planning.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on site, including speech therapists and case managers, to provide holistic care.
Establish treatment plans, monitor client progress and adjust documentation as necessary.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with medical and behavioral health standards.
Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy practices and medical terminology.

Part-time
Open to full time if therapist builds to that caseload

Requirements
Skills:
Expertise with sensory integration and processing for clients’ regulatory needs.
Experience with the zones of regulation.
Strong case management skills to coordinate comprehensive client care.
Knowledge of pediatrics for working with younger clients.
Excellent client care skills with a focus on empathy and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
