Northern Arizona University (NAU), a comprehensive doctoral research institution, is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking Chair to lead a dynamic faculty and staff in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program at our state of the art Phoenix Biomedical Campus based in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will oversee accreditation, administration, personnel, planning and evaluation. This is a twelve-month tenured position at the rank of associate or full academic professor.
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the post-baccalaureate level; a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of occupational therapy, including practice as an occupational therapist, administrative or supervisory experience; an earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education in an area related to occupational therapy; evidence of a substantial record of scholarly publications and/or grant funding in occupational therapy or related fields that meets qualification for tenure at NAU within the College of Health and Human Services; certified nationally as an occupational therapist; licensed/certified (or eligible for licensure/certification) in the State of Arizona as an occupational therapist
Annual Salary: Commensurate with qualifications.
