We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing Madison clinic, as a result of more intense marketing and integrating new services. We are an innovative therapy center providing services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders. In addition to treatment, we provide education and support to our clients' families.
Serve as a role model for effective teaching of clients and for communication and problem solving with staff, reinforcing emphasis on a behavior methodical, practical approach to therapy, the extensive use of data in decision making, and the use of positive reinforcement to achieve maximum performance when working with students and co-workers.
Support training initiatives by helping new employees acquire necessary skills, and by continually assessing development needs and researching/designing appropriate programs; ensure that clinicians receive regular feedback and positive support in the clinic, school and community in a proactive manner aligned with clients’ behavioral programs.
Support colleagues in identifying and conducting client assessments, identifying and developing client acquisition goals and ITPs, and collaborating on assessing and developing function-based behavior intervention plans.
Collaborate with Director of Therapy and Clinical Services and/or Clinical Director in researching/recommending practice management strategies and program growth and advancement.
Provide input and problem solve challenging clients’ behavioral and instructional needs.

This position requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, active state license, and advanced understanding of sensory processing disorders. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist. Some experience working with children with developmental disabilities is strong preferred.
