NVMHI seeks an energetic full-time Occupational Therapist to support the recovery of adults with serious mental illnesses.

The successful candidate will have at least entry-level knowledge of principles and practice of Occupational Therapy, have strong communication skills and be a team player. Graduate from AOTA accredited OT program & VA OT license/eligibility required. Experience in psychosocial setting preferred. A fingerprint based criminal history check and pre-employment drug screening will be required for the selected candidate.

Graduation from an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.
Eligible for National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification.
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia required (New graduates of Occupational Therapy programs have six months from date of graduation to first pass the NBCOT exam and be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia).
