Responsible for the organization, administration, continuous program review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the program as well as the other duties and responsibilities inherent in the position. Reports to the Department Chair of Allied Health at the District Office.
(M1) Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a health related field. (M2) Certified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant licensed in the state or jurisdiction. (M3) A minimum of five years of documented experience in the field of occupational therapy including clinical practice, administrative duties, and understanding of and experience with OTAs. (M4) At least one year of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.
(D1) Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. (D2) At least three years of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level. (D3) Community college teaching experience.
